A blend curated by expert tea masters, 1888 Grand Oolong is a whole leaf tea made from premium leaves grown at an altitude ranging from 4000 to 6200 feet above sea level. It is a grand blend that is somewhat large, bold, and evenly curled giving it a very intriguing appearance. A single estate blend produced at Okayti, it is semi-oxidized with a captivating raw honey-like sweetness. Oolong is often considered a tea in-between black and green tea and is oxidized just enough to get the desired flavours. The whole leaf beautifully unfurls and steeps up a dark brown infusion that is heavy, full in body, and very fragrant in flavour.
